There’s no doubt that the pandemic has been difficult for us all. Many of us, and our customers, have witnessed first-hand how quickly life can change and perhaps been reminded of the importance of having financial protection in place. While the pandemic has had a huge impact on the insurance industry as a whole, the life insurance sector has been left relatively unscathed. We have seen a significant increase in the number of customer enquiries about our life insurance products compared to last year.
Covid-19 may have increased customer awareness of life insurance products and highlighted the value they can bring in these unprecedented times. We are here to discuss customers protection needs as we understand the importance of insurance and to help provide peace of mind. However, we all know our Travel Insurance service have been hugely impacted by the current travel restrictions.
Our Travel Insurance Senior Product Manager, Amanda Duffy, explains: “We understand that no one can travel right now, and Horizon Travel Insurance sales remain suspended for the time being. However, we know this won’t be forever. We are anticipating that Travel will resume, in some form in the very near future.
By completing your training for Travel Insurance and passing the test now, will enable you and your Branch to be ready once travel restrictions have been lifted. Customers will be looking to make travel plans for the future, and we want to be there when they need us most”
This Insurance training will help you stay up to date with your product knowledge and sales process, so you’re ready to help our customers in a consistent and fair way. Anyone who talks with our customers about insurance products, must complete the mandatory Insurances Compliance training. The compliance training will be available on SuccessFactors and Horizon from 12 February 2021, and must be completed and passed by 19 April 2021.
By the end of this course, you will understand the Life and Travel Insurance products, learn how to introduce and sell them with confidence ensuring customers are fully protected.
