The video talks about preventive care for pets, and aims to show how to keep your pets happy and healthy.
But all is not as it seems. It’s a spoof.
The video promotes a collar that will translate cats’ meows, dogs’ woofs, and other animal noises into spoken English so that pets can tell you exactly what they are thinking.
The video is in the style of TV ads such as those for JML products, which are often positioned as innovative and problem-solving, from non-stick pans to the world’s best ironing board covers…
You might think you’ll never use the product, but once you watch the advert it makes you think about buying it.
When can I share the video on social media?
If you’re up for a bit of light hearted fun with your customers and local community, the video will be available exclusively on the #WeArePostOffice social media app from Wednesday 31 March so you can share it on Thursday 1 April.
